Wilson Electrical Solutions endeavours to provide a safe and healthy work environment for our staff and our clients and strive to uphold a high level of safety on all our projects. We have developed a Workplace Health and Safety Management System that is incorporated in all of our organisational activities related to products, services and people. Our goals are to show our commitment of our management and workers to health and safety, remove or reduce the risks to the health, safety and welfare of all workers, contractors, visitors and anyone else affected by our business operations, and ensure all work activities are done safely.
Our Management System identifies all potential hazards that are associated with the particular works being undertaken at a workplace, along with the risk-control measures that will be implemented. This system is in place in order to effectively protect people from the potential risks, injuries or illnesses that may occur as a result of the potential hazards identified. We will take all reasonable and practical steps to improve workplace safety conditions & are committed to:
- Complying with all applicable health and safety laws, regulations & standards
- Providing safe plant & equipment
- Identifying, promoting & continuously improving health & safety performance
- Implementing suitable & relevant risk & hazard management systems
- Providing adequate health & safety training to all employees, contractors & visitors
- Operating strict protocols of risk assessment & resolution by incorporating Safe Work Method Statements as well as Material Safety Data Sheets where applicable
- Upholding relevant policies & procedures, systems, information, training & organisational structures to ensure effective health and safety practices
- Utilising suitable internal and/or external expertise when necessary
- Maintaining positive safety principles through encouraging active participation & cooperation of all employees in promoting & developing health & safety control measures
- Actively responding to & investigating all workplace incidents & ensuring injured employees are returned to suitable work as soon as possible
Wilson Electrical Solutions will implement and maintain these systems in accordance with our policies and procedures. These systems will be monitored regularly to ensure their reliability & effectiveness in maintaining a safe workplace.
